Adaptation of the 2010 documentary film about the victim of a street attack by Mark Hogankemp, who recovered from psychological trauma with the help of “puppet” therapy. In the courtyard of his house, he built a toy city from the Second World War and populated it with figures similar to real people from his past. As mentioned above, there is no 'attack' of the puppet people. A better title, but less sensational, would be 'Escape of the Doll People.' From doing some investigating I learned that the working title was 'The Fantastic Puppet People.' The whole idea behind a doll maker inventing a shrinking ray (along with an enlarging ray too!) is preposterous.
